MY UX JOURNEY
Impassioned with the synthesis of intricate information and the communication of ideas, I have chosen a UX path that sates my creative needs. All the while, this career allows me to help people along their own paths. My analytical and problem solving skills combined with my design background have facilitated an organic transition into the UX field.
From budding curiosity, completion of the UXDI course at General Assembly, and through my first few years in the industry my interest in the process has only continued to grow. I’m ready to keep growing and improve our digital world for businesses and users alike.
I pride myself on bringing positivity to the table and am keen to develop real and strong relationships in this industry. I’m obsessed with the end-to-end, research/user-centred, creative process as much as the end goal. If you’re energised by creativity and driven to build amazing, useful products like myself, I’d love to meet you! Feel free to reach out, any time.
ACTION SHOTS, FRIENDS AND INTERESTS
PRE-UX
Never out of reach of a sketchbook from a young age, I indulged my creative passions at Oxford Brookes University studying Fine Art & Design. My projects spanned mediums from stylised portraiture to endurance/performance art. Despite this range, one theme remained consistent throughout: the human condition. Broken down into the subjects of decision making and perspective, these motifs are crucial to UX design. Prior to my exciting transition into UX, I was able to make a living with commisioned art pieces and graphic design.
